Swamp mallow, which I love and Cassandra says "it's a weed". If it is it is a weed I like! The rose is on a bush that only produced one or two blooms last year and looks like it will have several this year even though the plant is not in very great shape.
Sadly this is my Herb garden. It does have a bunch of herbs but everything is overgrown and in general confusion until I can try to shape it up. My general neglect shows all over the yard. The picture with the camper in the background is of my grape vine. It's support fell over so I built the new one that you can kind of see in the photo. The grape vine is the big mess in between the blueberry bushes that are nearly impossible to detect on both edges of the picture. Look for a photo very soon of the entire mess all cleaned up and pruned to what it should have been looking like this spring! The blueberry bushes are having another banner year, they seem to love the wet weather.
